2023 Rare Disease Forum

Rare Disease is not rare. According to the National Institute of Health, if you know 10 people, chances are you know someone with a rare disease. There are about 7,000 different rare diseases that affect an estimated 30 million people in the United States.

Here in Missouri, researchers across the state are studying rare diseases to learn about what causes them and to discover therapies and treatments.

Please join us, either in person or virtually, the evening of October 19th for a Rare Disease Forum, presented in partnership with Rare & Black, as we learn more about the research happening around rare disease and what resources are available to patients and caregivers after a diagnosis.
